Title of the PhD Project: “Research activity on multi-physics phenomena in support of the design and the safety analysis of thermohydraulic systems for nuclear fusion reactors”
Supervisor(s): Prof. Nicola Forgione, Dr. Francesco Galleni
Abstract of the PhD project:
This research activity concentrates on the thermohydraulic analysis of systems used in nuclear fusion reactors, with particular emphasis on the development and application of numerical codes. The work aims to improve modelling capabilities for fluid flow and heat transfer under the extreme conditions typical of fusion environments. The results contribute to more accurate simulations and support safer and more efficient design of future fusion reactor components.
